Join Us for Our Longest Day Festival

As a community that provides both assisted living and memory care, MorningStar at Jordan partners with the Alzheimer’s Association throughout the year in support of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.  Our activities include raising awareness and funds as well as having a good time along the way with our residents and their families and friends. 

This year we will again celebrate the Summer Solstice with a day filled with the “Longest Day” activities on June 21^st.  In fact, we will not be alone as it is expected that thousands of people across the country and even the world will join to raise funds and awareness for care and support that helps advance research for Alzheimer’s. 

This year MorningStar at Jordan will feature a photo booth, commemorative purple flowers which will be planted in our Reflections flower bed, and everyone’s favorite -  Put a Cream Pie in Your Favorite Department Head’s Face! Along with all these fun activities, we will have entertainment and Chef Chris will be preparing some fun brain wise foods. Donations are being accepted through out June, but we are hoping to do most of our fund raising on The Longest Day.
