This is why one of our mission statements is to invest generously in our team’s ability to serve well.  Along with the Radiance training all new employees receive that guides the way we dispense our exceptional service, we also provide training to give team members the tools they need to serve residents suffering from Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. 

This is especially important if you have applied for a position in one of our Reflections Neighborhoods, which houses our memory care residents.  The training is designed to give you a deeper understanding of the disease and will help you interact more effectively with residents. Our program, “Under a Lavender Sky” helps you step into the “purple world” of memory loss, and cross the physical, emotional and relational barriers that separate our most tender residents.  You will learn how to change your communication style, understand the power of touch, and most importantly to embrace joy and hope.
