For example, during a day in August, our residents had a choice of activities that included joining the 10:00am Exercise Class, participating in the 11:00am Hymn Sing Along, and after lunch, going out to the movies at 1:00pm. Later that afternoon, you could watch the 1:45pm Afternoon Documentary, and join the 3:00pm Movement Class. During the month, residents played Table Bowling, enjoyed a live music concert, and had fun in Watercolor Class. If poetry is your thing, join us on the patio for poetry readings or get involved in the art of jewelry making. Other activities that go on around MorningStar are games, trivia, and a range of physical exercises perfected for our residents.
During the month of August, MorningStar of Boulder took trips to the Boulder County Fair and Buffalo Bill Museum, had meetings of our Resident and Food Councils, and took a couple of relaxing scenic drives. So, whether you are a knitter or want to learn, would love a visit from local preschoolers, or want to join the Community Walk, and much, much more, we either have it on the calendar or encourage our residents to go ahead and start a club.
