MorningStar also considers it our responsibility to invest our time and talents in charitable projects within our own local communities as well as around the world.  Some examples of our broader commitments include participating in the Alzheimer’s Association’s activities such as “The Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” which is held each Fall in various cities including the Denver area.  The 5K Walk is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.  

Our Denver area homes also host uplifting celebrations of the Association’s “The Longest Day,” which fall on summer solstice.  Additionally throughout the year, residents and staff enjoy activities that embrace our giving philosophy - To reflect the character of God; we choose to direct our resources toward elevating the lives of those most in need.
